MANAGEMENT MechPro provides its Client with the following benefits: Financial Control and Reporting - The ability to complete projects to specification and to the Clients budget. - Provide accurate financial control, forecasting and reporting, as well as the timeous submissions of claims. Contractual Requirements - MechPro will apply the Client’s offer and work in conjunction with the Purchaser’s specification, provide programme requirements, data submissions and quality requirements without compromising the Client’s interests. Project Managing - Setting out and maintaining realistic programmes from the day to day to full turnkey projects. - Expediting projects to ensure timeous deliveries. - Timeous placing of orders and co-ordination of sub-contractors, suppliers or erectors in order to meet the project programme. - Effective Liaison/Communication internal to the Clients office and externally to ensure optimum use of the Clients support structure, providing a good working relationship with the Client’s Clients and sub-contractors. Technical Knowledge/Ability - Sound technical background for design work, satisfying technical queries from the Client, Client’s Client and sub-contractors. - Provide knowledge/skills to trouble shoot in on-site situations. Purchasing - Ability to protect the Client’s interest when purchasing. - The ability to spread risk through negotiating, in as much as is practical, back to back agreements with suppliers. - Negotiate the most favourable payment terms and conditions to minimise risk and improve cash flow. - Ability to appraise tenderers and identify the best sub-contractor, supplier or erector to suit the project. Supervision/ commissioning/ Fault finding - Ability to protect the Client’s interest during installation of projects in and around South Africa. - Managing and overseeing sub-contractors on site to ensure that the project maintain on programmes. - Commissioning of Clients projects on site - Fault finding of commissioned plants and providing detailed reports and suggestions on rectification work that must take place to remedy the faults.
